On Monte Sei Busi near Ossuary Redipuglia is active for over 10 years a historical place which was recovered according to the dictation of the archaeology of the Great War, the grandfathers’ archaeology. It is possible to live a special experience going into the valley which was the first old station of which is possible to visit the remarkable ruins across the communication trenches excavated by soldiers and made once again travelled over thanks to voluntary service of the volunteer of the Path of Peace. Finished the visit to the Valley of 500 or Dolina dei Bersaglieri you can reach in a few minutes, partly on macadam road and partly on foot road, the zone nearly at the peak of the Monte Sei Busi, q 188, where it is possible visit the trench Mazzoldi, a trench partially elaborated again during the war by the Italian army on the excavation of Austrian trenches abandoned after the capture of Gorizia. In the trenches, walkable, are visible the graffiti left by soldiers, a sign of their passage hundred years ago.
